Personal Branding

I Stopped Selling on LinkedIn. My Pipeline Got Better.

Last month, a CEO messaged me after reading a post I wrote about a negotiation that didn’t go the way I expected. He wasn’t reaching out because of a service page or a sales pitch — he said the post was the first time he understood how decisions actually get made in Japan.

For a while, I tried posting about my services directly. It barely moved anything.

I switched to writing about what I was actually learning from real conversations, one lesson per post, nothing more.

If you’re thinking about how to build credibility with a Japanese audience before you ever pitch them, feel free to reach out.

Principle

Trust is built by sharing what you’ve actually learned, not what you’re offering.

If this sounds familiar, feel free to reach out.
